The Andreason’s

In the summer of 2024, Tyler and Andi Andreason made the decisive move to Sullivan, Missouri, settling into an ideal ranch-style home with a finished basement. Though the home is stunning, the quality of work from the original painter fell short of expectations. Pro Precision Painting took charge to ensure that the painting not only met but exceeded the original standards!

Starting Condition

  • Newly constructed walls and ceilings.
  • Individual walls painted in the same color but with varying sheens.
  • Significant preparation was neglected and remains incomplete.
  • The trim and doors were not properly caulked, sealed, or painted.
  • Low-quality paint brushes were used to cut in around outlets, switches, and trim, and they were not properly backrolled to achieve a seamless look.

What a change preparation and beautification can make!

  1. All floors were prepared to protect against debris and scratching.
  2. Ceilings: All nail holes and broken tape seams were repaired, primed, and then painted.
  3. Walls: Every nail hole was filled, tape seams were repaired, rough paintwork was sanded, primed, and then received two quality coats of matte finish paint.
  4. Trim and Doors: All surfaces were cleaned, putty holes filled, trim was caulked, rough areas were sanded, primed, and painted, and then finished with two quality coats of Pro Classic Urethane Trim Enamel.

  4. Ceilings – Sherwin Williams CHB, Flat Finish, Traditional White
  5. Trim & Doors – Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Urethane Trim Enamel, Semi-Gloss Finish, Traditional White
