Long Family
A historic home in Labadie, Missouri, a decades-old paint job, and a family ready for a change! Late in 2025, the Long family reached out to Pro Precision Painting to rescue their beautiful lap-sided wood home. They could have spent months tackling the massive project themselves, but they chose to fast-track their home’s transformation by calling in the professionals. Here is how we brought this historic beauty back to life!

RESTORATION PROCESS
Original Condition:
- Well-worn wood lap sidded home
- Sun and water damage to extremities
- Peeling paint
- Failing window caulk, etc.
- Modest squirrel damage
Our team tenderly power-washed and soft-washed the entire home. Then, inch by inch, they went over every wooden surface. Some surfaces needed only scraping, while others needed repairs and priming. Our work also included using a 45-foot lift to reach Dormers that had not seen painting in decades. In the end, the whole home was meticulously prepped for a whole-home painting.
After days of preparation, it was time to paint and stain!
