As a previous customer of Cherry Hills Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Emily Leonard hired Pro Precision Painting to restore the exterior of her cabin in St. James, Missouri. The cabin needed a refresh, and Emily recognized the care and detail our company had previously shown in painting her hospital.

Task
After coordinating two specific stain samples applied to the cedar siding of the cabin, we received permission to remove all existing stains from the home. We will then apply Sherwin Williams SuperDeck Semi-Transparent Waterborne Stain to the siding and soffits of the entire cabin.

BEAUTIFICATION PROCESS
Starting Condition
- Precious cedar-sided cabin.
- No known date of when last stained.
- Good amount of weather-related wear.
Proper staining takes proper planning.
- We selected an area to test.
- Removal of existing stain.
- The first sample was applied and reviewed.
- The first sample was “too red”.
- Removal of first sample.
- The second sample was then applied.
- The second Sample was approved.
Once a stain color was chosen, the hard work of preparation began.

- Stripped and conditioned all walls
- Stripped and conditioned all decks
- Stripped and conditioned all soffits and overhangs
After all the preparation was complete, staining began and produced the following results.
